but of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof, thou shalt surely perish.

okay, so here are four of my guiltless pleasures i thought i'd go ahead and share with you. mind you, i get that these can and probably are... HAZARDOUS TO MY HEALTH, but i'm a big girl willing to take the risk.
first, i posted keeping up with the kardashians. years ago when they came out in a big way i was so against three beautiful, rich sisters running around la doing whatever they like but here in the last 6months i have literally watched all the episodes of keeping up with the kardashians and knloe and kourtney take miami seasons 1 and 2. so, naturally, i'm super excited about kourtney and kim take nyc!!!
second, i posted my dirty little habit... okay... horribly dirty habit... smoking. i love cigarettes. they are my best friend and probably what is going to kill me, but i know that i have to be ready to quit and right now, i can be honest with myself and others and say that i am not ready to give up my "precious".
third, i posted teen mom season 2. i loved season1. i loved getting my sister addicted to teen mom. we have something to talk about almost all the time. discussing the good moms from the bad ones, the pretty normal girls to the bat shit crazy ones and it's just fun. besides all that, i had my first born son as a teen and i feel like i can really relate in many ways.
the fourth thing i posted was a can of coke.... i am a junkie. i am addicted, no i mainline soda. day in and day out. i never touch water unless i'm super thirsty. i think i probably drink at a minimum 4-5 cokes a day and at the most, maybe, 12. i know what you're thinking... gross, but i beg to differ. coke, is like a smoke... my bff.
so, now you know some of my guiltless pleasures.

  1. I am totally addicted to Teem Mom as well. Did you watch this week? It's going to be a crazy season. . . I'm a big Diet Coke drinker, but now I have to try to drink the caffeine free and I try to limit that.

I have watched a couple seasons of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. I agree that it totally hooks you!

  2. I love Teen Mom and 16 and Pregnant! They are my favorite shows right now... well, those and The Office! And yes, you totally got me hooked when I was pregnant with Margot.

I wish you would quit smoking. I know, I know- I'm of those people who nag current smokers after quitting, but seriously- it would be so good for you. I think about smoking a cigarette every now and again, but I know they are so bad for me. Joel really helped me quit. Maybe he can help you, too. :)

I used to be addicted to Dr. Pepper and then it was an "iced, Venti black tea, no classic" from Starbucks. I used to drink three or four a day! Now I just drink water or sometimes juice. And every now and again I'll drink a root beer.

  3. Oh, Coke is my guilty pleasure. Like you, I have to force myself to drink water even when I'm sick. I'm trying to loose a little weight now, so I'm trying to make myself drink it before meals, but it's harder than it sounds. I just love Coke. It's delicious and it makes everything taste better.... I was going to encourage you to quit smoking too, but since I can't even imagine quitting Coke, which is so much easier than smoking, I don't really have a leg to stand on. Still, I hope for your sake you are able to be kick it one day soon.

  5. That would be a great Thursday post! We have them planned through February, but I am going to ask Joanna if she wants to do that in February! :)

My guilties? Retail therapy, Starbucks Decaf Frappacinos (sp?), chocolate. . .

Not so guilties? Teen Mom and 16 and Pregnant, Tosh.0, staying up all night with a good book. . .
